Having a robust cybersecurity program includes ensuring everyone in the practice understands their role and responsibility in compliance with HIPAA security. So that staff members understand these responsibilities, the HIPAA Security Rule requires all members of a practice’s workforce, including management, to receive routine security awareness and training. This course offers three modules that build on each other. The first module provides an overview of cybersecurity, the second module details tactics used by cybercriminals and how practices and staff can identify these threats, and the third module discusses various techniques an organization can implement to mitigate cyber threats.
