This course is intended for OSHA Officers/Coordinators. Topics covered include:

  • An overview of the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard and employer’s responsibilities
  • Information pertaining to Exposure Control planning, hazard assessments, exposure determinations, methods of exposure control, Safer Sharps protocol, regulated waste procedures, signs and labeling requirements, personal protective equipment, housekeeping requirements, hepatitis B vaccinations, post exposure evaluation and follow up, exposure incident evaluation, employee training, and recordkeeping
  • Assistance in developing your practice’s Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan
