The HIPAA Privacy Rule requires entities to provide education to any staff member who has access to protected health information (PHI) to better understand their role in protecting this information. This course is intended to provide staff information on the HIPAA regulations and what they need to do to protect patient privacy.

Important: Staff will need to receive separate cybersecurity education to meet additional Security Rule education requirements.
