This course is intended for OSHA Officers/Coordinators. Topics covered include:
- An overview of the Hazard Communication Standard and employer’s responsibilities
- Information pertaining to Hazard Communication Programs, creating a chemical list, Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), employee safety, work practice controls, personal protective equipment, chemical spill protocol, eyewash stations, handling and storage, container labeling, chemical pictograms , employee training, and recordkeeping
- Assistance in developing your practice’s Hazard Communication Program

As you begin to develop your practice’s Safety Program, it is important to remember it must be customized to your practice’s unique needs and site-specific information.
