Medical practice staff should be aware of business risks (fraud, waste, and abuse) that place the practice and its physicians and employees at risk of non-compliance with government regulations, business contracts, and other binding requirements. This session focuses on explaining the laws related to fraud that staff should be aware of to avoid costly fines and potential imprisonment and information as to how the staff can participate in compliance activities.
